GROUP PROJECT for the Milan Design Week 2025 (Collaboration with MID and M.Arch students)
Hephaestus aims to deliver an infrastructure based on modular machines that can become the backbone of future Lunar projects and beyond in a sustainable manor in order to influence the way we design systems on earth as much as we do in space.

Extensive Research
As a team, we looked into everything from current rover technologies, case studies, concepts, NASA's future goals, research papers, current and developing rocket designs, and Lunar exploration sites, both planned and unplanned.
MODULAR
Must be able to adapt to an expanding Lunar habitat and remain as a vital asset to the base.
EFFICIENT
Must be practical and useful in its function to be considered beneficial to the construction and operation of a Lunar base.
PORTABLE
Must be able to get to the Moon and be moved between Lunar bases and dig sites.
